Barbara has had an interest in fashion and clothing from an early age. She began sewing through 4H when she was 12 years old and has never stopped.

For many years she made her own clothes, inspired by designs in fashion magazines. Today she enjoys making garments that involve many fiber techniques and these garments can be described as wearable art.
